NoMachine Client v5 Configuration

1. Click ‘New’ to create a new connection

2. Select ‘protocol: ‘SSH’

   

3. Specify hostname ‘nxgw.neuro.berkeley.edu and ‘port 22’

   

4. Select ‘Use the NoMachine Login’

   

5. With a web browser, go to https://www.neuro.berkeley.edu/_downloads/nx_DSA_key.txt. Authenticate with your cluster username/password. Use the web browser’s File -> Save option to save the file to your desktop/laptop. Save the file as a text (.txt) file.

6. Return to the NoMachine client. In the ‘alternate server key’ field, specify location of the file you just saved.

   

7. Select ‘Don’t use a proxy’
