Restore login access

NX login

  1. To remove a failed session (and log in immediately), run the nxclean command. If ‘nxclean’ succeeds, you may log in as usual. If you don’t want to terminate your NX session, I may be able to restore it. Send a description of the problem to support-neuro@berkeley.edu.

SSH login

If scp, ftp, or sshfs (OSXfuse) login access fails:

  1. email support-neuro@berkeley.edu.

  2. Configure your client to use hostname: ssh1.neuro.berkeley.edu

    Note

ssh1 is intended for emergency use only. Login sessions on ssh1 may be terminated unless you email support-neuro@berkeley.edu.
